Monteleone d`Orvieto has a population of 1.629 inhabitants (Monteleonesi) and a surface of 23,86 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 68,3 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 500 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Monteleone d`Orvieto had a popolation of 1.607 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 1.629 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 1.40% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 692 families with an average of 2.35 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 235 and 513 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 278 metres.

Work and workers:There are 41 industrial firms employing 139 people that are the 43.17% of the total of the workers. There are 37 service firms employing 59 people that are the 18.32% of the total of the workers. There are also 28 firms employing 66 people that are the 20.50% of the total of the workers. There are also 17 administrative offices emplying 58 workers that are the 18.01% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 322 workers, that are the 19.77% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
