Castel Viscardo - The town of Castel Viscardo

Castel Viscardo has a population of 3.047 inhabitants (Castellesi) and a surface of 26,26 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 116,1 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 507 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Castel Viscardo had a popolation of 2.830 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 3.047 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 7.70% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 1.183 families with an average of 2.58 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 148 and 557 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 409 metres.

Work and workers:There are 65 industrial firms employing 291 people that are the 45.54% of the total of the workers. There are 55 service firms employing 94 people that are the 14.71% of the total of the workers. There are also 52 firms employing 189 people that are the 29.58% of the total of the workers. There are also 19 administrative offices emplying 65 workers that are the 10.17% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 639 workers, that are the 20.97% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
